Hi Val

Thanks for downloading iBuyThat. To manage categories you use the category option from the main menu. This will show you a list of all the categories which have been created. Whilst on this list, swiping your finger along the category you want to remove will show you the delete key, the same as when deleting mails from the mail app on the iPhone. When you press the delete key it will check you really want to delete that category and if so remove it. If you have assigned items to a category it will warn you that items exist within that category and that removing the category will also remove the items within it.

I am working on the next version at the moment which will include an edit so you can just change a category without needing to remove it.

If you have any other problems or suggestions for iBuyThat please let me know.

Thanks

I just downloaded your app. I have a list app for the grocery store; but not for everything else. Yours looks great; but how do I edit/delete categories. I accidentally listed one twice and misspelled another.
Thanks,
Val

Hi Javie

I have updated the app so you should now be able to download it onto your iPod Touch. Let me know if you have any problems.

Thanks

Hi Tom

Are you able to post the code you are using. I am not sure why you are getting a row back or 0 at the moment. If I can see the methods it may help and I'd be happy to take a look.

Mike,

This is timely for me as well. I've tried both versions above but I always get a row of 0 when I run this regardless of which row I click.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Tom

Thanks Harsha, happy to help. If you have any questions you like to share feel free to do so. I've been working through all sorts recently and I'd be happy to answer any other questions if I can.

Happy Christmas
