Scientists would have you believe that if we are not careful and reduce our Co2 emissions, the UK will end up with a climate like Spain. The selfish part of me thinks WOOHOO, bring it on and whilst I sit here typing this with the rain issing down outside, I wish we did have a climate like Spain.

I know it would cause the country to grind to a halt, people would complain its TOO HOT, we would run out of water in five days flat etc. etc, but seeing as so far this summer has been a right wash out, it does make you think that it would be nice….

Whilst pondering these things, I also start to wonder where this global warming really is. I hear LOADS about it on TV and radio, but I don’t see the UK being scorched to within an inch of its life. Back in 2006, the then Science minister warned gardeners that we should start to plant more hardy plants. Plants which can handle dry arid conditions. It makes me want to LMAO, I’ve not seen the countryside looking so green and healthy and if you had planted those plants they would have easily drowned by now….

Nope, I don’t think I’m going to get a Spanish summer this year in the UK. Maybe I should go and get a bigger car and help the process along
