I’ve made some good progress on my Sudoku game this weekend. I’ve continued to improve the graphics and also added the ability to place notes in cells while your working out the puzzle. I’ve also added an instructions page as there are a few ways of doing the same thing now.
Scientists would have you believe that if we are not careful and reduce our Co2 emissions, the UK will end up with a climate like Spain. The selfish part of me thinks WOOHOO, bring it on 
and whilst I sit here typing this with the rain issing down outside, I wish we did have a climate like Spain.

I’m afraid this post is a bit of a rant, so here goes 
I applied for a ING Savings Account nearly a month ago now and have been rejected twice for insufficient identification documents. The thing that really annoys me is that I have not received any correspondence regarding these rejections, it is only the fact that I rang them because I hadn’t heard anything, that I found out.
Whilst creating my Sudoku game, I wanted to create a simple effect on the title of the game. Many year ago, like in the mid 1980’s there were many demos going around on machines like the Spectrum 48k, Commodore 64 and eventually Atari ST and Amiga 500 which would show off sounds and graphics on those machines. One of the most common effects used was to put a SIN wave ripple through an image or text message.
I posted recently about my holiday and that during the holiday I started to play with my own Sudoku game. The start for me was to generate random Sudoku puzzles for the player to solve.
I watched a movie the other day that was based on a Stephen King short story called “1408″, very cool movie. It has inspired me to try and read more books, not sure why, I just feel the urge
Just got back home after spending a great week in the Isle of Wight. The weather was fantastic while we were there and so the kids had plenty of beach time as well as all the normal holiday activities. (more…)
